New C Traffordgold comes from one, traceable source - Cargill Plc's processing facility in Trafford Park, Manchester. New C Traffordgold is produced as a result of processing wheat to make four key ingredients:

All of these products are derived from wheat, and are for use in the human food and drink industries or for use in the aquaculture and pet food sectors.

Wheat is coarsely milled and the flour mixed with water to separate vital wheat gluten. From the various grades of starch, a very pure grade of starch is extracted (which can then be converted into glucose syrups) and the remainder is sent to an on-site distillery as a fermentation stock for the production of alcohol.

 

After the fermentation and distillation of the alcohol, a distillery liquor rich in energy and protein is combined with the digestible fibre and starch plus a small percentage of a high energy glucose stream. Collectively these ingredients make the highly nutritious moist feed, New C Traffordgold.

 

New C Traffordgold is stored and handled on site by KW through a purpose built storage facility and delivered to your farm direct from Trafford Park.
